Hey Tom,
thanks for a great night last night and for accepting "Missive" into Angry. And on top of that many thanks for the Honourable Mention for Best Screenplay award. The selection of films were great, particularly "Whiskey Bar" and "Domestic". It was nice to be in the midst of such high quality films.
The time and care that you put into not only running your festival, but also your efforts in creating a tightly-knit community of local filmmakers and actors. Melbourne filmmakers are like a small family of sorts, there's an alcoholic stepfather, a lascivious mother and a whole bunch of rotten kids. But by God I love 'em :)
My website has just gone up at www.missivethemovie.com. Check it out. I made it myself and it's the first time I've ever made a website so excuse any poor workmanship :)
Thanks again buddy. And look forward to many many more great Angry Film Festivals in the future.

Hi Tom.
Its Rebbecca from Resurrection Pictures.
Just wanted to congratulate you on the film festival. I meet a lot of people who have contacted me to work on projects and I truly believe this is how we achieve success in this industry, by networking and supporting each other.
I am in Adelaide for a few days, but Eddie and I will sort out the prize early next week.
Take Care and regards to your beautiful wife.
Rebecca

Hi Tom,
Well done again on the festival.
We will have to go out for a beer before I head off to Brisbane.
Cheers,
Dan Matier

Great thanks Tom,

Gary Cunliffe “The Removalist” (NSW) is a great friend of mine so thrilled to see he has won Best Screen play, now disappointed that I did not have the opportunity to stay until the announcements.

It was a great night (a long night though early in the week) with a vast range of finalist film topics, looking forward to your 6th Festival.

All the best,
Kim Underwood

Tom,
Sorry for not writing any earlier, I've been caught up with a lot of work since arriving back here in
Sydney.
I would personally like to thank you once again for a great film festival and the opportunity of
showing my film "Educating Kevin". It was a great pleasure in being there at the festival and
enjoying the audience reactions which was worth its weight in gold.
I hope to see you soon in the near future and thanks for making a great film festival.
Cheers
Paul O. Gardner
Director of EDUCATING KEVIN

Hi Tom,

I wanted to thank you again for the tickets to the Angry Film Festival, I had a lovely time and very much enjoyed meeting so many promising "up-and-comers" in Australia's independent film market.

We were unable to stay until the end and I couldn't find the winners listed on your website yet.. May I ask who won? It must have been a tough decision as all the films were very good.

I particularly enjoyed "Missive", "Domestic" and "The Removalist". Is it possible to ask for contact details for the crew of these films as I would like to write and congratulate them on their efforts.

I also hope to collaborate on a project with you and your production company sometime in the future.

With Regards,

Hi Tom
I was actually quite impressed, being the cynic that I am. I was kind of expecting a bit of a bias towards comedy based films as this is what I have noticed is the trend with a lot of film festivals. But I was pleasantly surprised to see a healthy balance of genres most of which were very well made. I also liked the relaxed set up of the screening area, so all in all I thought it was a great night. Unfortunately I was too tired to hang around afterwards to meet anyone which was a bit annoying, but yeah I thought it was a good night.
Cheers

Hey Tom.
Thanks for organising the Angry Film Festival - thoroughly enjoyed. Couldn't hang around for the last two films as had somewhere to be so unfortunately didn't get to say hi. Some cool films...
Cheers,

Hi Tom,

Thank you so much for the free tickets to the Festival. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and you are to be congratulated on such a great night, after putting alot of effort into everything involved in it, you deserve to receive some wonderful accolades from people, and hopefully they are coming in left right and centre.

Hope to catch up soon, but please look after yourself, your wife and TOBE - which means to be, the new one to come.

Thank again for the opportunity to network.
Warmest regards,
Sam.
