Directors Statement

So my aim was to try and create a film that didn't focus on disability so much as just tell a simple entertaining story about a boy who happens to use a wheelchair and the way that affects how children play. An image was born in my head of a yuong cheeky wheelchair-using boy poking his tongue out...and I couldn't help but continue the contest.

And of course to make the filming process more complicated... I just had to have a dog!
