“I WANT TO LIVE HERE” CALL
FOR ENTRIES
Homelessness, exorbitant rents and lack of housing availability particularly
amongst students are huge problems.
There are countless stories out there in our communities of people
facing long rental queues and price hikes in what we’re told
is a competitive rental market of only 1.2%.
Let’s bust the myths of the hyped market that’s pushing
us further out.
The I Want To Live Here Film Competition is a call out for those feeling
disenfranchised and “fenced-out” of the market to create
in 3 minutes or less a film about the current housing crisis. We want
to see films of all genres and styles, and for entrants to be as creative
as possible.
The winner will receive a $3000 cash prize with second and third runner
up receiving film equipment and other prizes.
The Top 3 will be shown at an Official screening and the winner announced
in early December.
Entries Open June 16 and close October 3rd.
