The Angry Film Festival deadline has been extended to the 3nd Feb.
Films must reach us by this date.
The 10th Angry Film Festival deadline is now looming. Download an entry form at www.angryproductions.org.
Films do not need to be Angry. The festival is so named after the festival director's first attempt at his own short film THE ANGRY PENGUIN. The only criteria is that films be under fifteen minutes.
Make use of the extended deadline. Entries must reach us by the 2nd February!
The festival will run over three nights in Feb 2012.
8.30pm, 28th February - Screening of Dace Decklan: Private Eye (The Feature)
(A co-production between NPG Productions and NPG Productions)
8.30pm, 29th February - The Best Short Films from around the World
8.30pm, 1st March - The Best Australian Short Films
The venue this year will be Revolt Productions.
12 Elizabeth Street Kensington, Melbourne
Entry fee for Australian films is $25. Overseas entries are free!!!
Also keep in mind that if you don't get through as a finalist for the Angry Film Festival you still have a chance to be selected for West Side Shorts.
West Side Shorts is a monthly offshoot from Angry and screens those films that didn't make it as Angry finalists.
Over the last three years West Side Shorts has screened over two hundred films.
MOVIE EXTRA will once again be sponsoring first prize for the BEST FILM in the Australian Shorts section which will be $500.
Every entry submitted also receives a one year membership to screenhub.com.
PROFILE CREATIVE has just joined the sponsors and will be awarding a cash prize of $100 for Best Script and $100 for Best Director and representation at least 12 months for both winners!
